3D printing is becoming accessible to everyone but designing things to print still requires some skill with 3D graphics software. Tom Trax creates the STL files used by 3D printers to print tracks and accessories perfect for the well known rolling trains (with eyes) loved by 2-6 year olds. Nearly every object - tracks, buildings, creatures and things - can be sized or transformed to create an infinite variety of objects. Since you can choose the color of the plastic used by your 3D printer, objects can be printed in a wild variety of colors, creating more variety than can be purchased in the toy store. This is a fun use of your 3D printer and allows you to assemble custom designed toy train layouts that make great gifts.

This user interface is simplicity itself. Click&drag on any object to change its size in one or two dimensions or to transform its shape (creatures and things) and press the spinning crystal to export the STL file for your printer.
